Crocodile Rocks - Mudjimba Island

A little bit of luck and a hint of planning went into capturing this image. I had the idea to take an image of the milkyway rising over Old Woman Island off of Mudjimba Beach on the Sunshine Coast, a location not far from home. The rocks in the foreground lined up very nicely with the island and direction the milkyway was rising, but it wasn’t til I got home that I realised that the rocks resembled a crocodile, crawling from the ocean. It ended up coming together quite nicely and I very much enjoy the final image.
