An image of the milkyway rising over the Tesselated Pavement from my trip to Tasmania in August of 2024. This image was one I had been looking forward to taking for months leading up to going. When I arrived at my hotel for the day of shooting I was dismayed. I was treated to dreary, overcast, rainy weather for the entirety of the day. Miraculously as the sun began to set, the clouds cleared and I was able to capture one of my dream photographs.
